WELCOME TO JULIAN CASTLE PHOTOGRAPHY BSC (HONS) LBIPP
As a Freelance Location Photographer, it is my objective to supply leading photographic agencies with high-quality contemporary travel and architecture related imagery as well as providing photography services to the architectural sector.
When shooting overseas I am accompanied by my wife, Angela, herself a keen photographer. We look to visit the very best locations, mainly in southern Europe, the Mediterranean and North America to capture fresh and distinctive work. The images produced are licensed for commercial and editorial use worldwide and regularly sell to publishers - featuring in national newspapers such as the Daily Telegraph and Daily mail; in books, magazines, travel guides, brochures and corporate publications. The images on this website comprise a small number of the total available for Licensing.

Technical information:
I am dedicated to producing work of the highest calibre, both artistically and technically. To this end I use high-end Canon digital equipment. My cameras of choice is the 5D MK2 (21 MP) DSLR used with Premium "L" series lenses . Images are post-produced in Adobe Lightroom and the latest version of Photoshop CS. My workflow is colour profiled and calibrated. Panoramic images on this site have been produced using a Hasselblad Xpan rangefinder camera using Fuji Velvia film and 30/45 and 90mm lenses.
Please note: For Architectural work I mainly use the new Canon 24mm Mk2 Tilt & Shift perspective control lens. This allows image quality to be obtained at the highest level to meet professional and commercial requirements. Images are supplied as high res digital files in 300dpi Tiff, 300dpi Jpeg and 72dpi Jpg formats.
